About Our Client
A leading global fin tech organisation, my client has experienced exponential growth and is looking to grow their London based finance team.
Job Description
Reporting in to the Head of Financial Accounting, you will cover the following responsibnilities;
Prepare monthly accruals of allocated Group entities for management accounts.
Post client liability journals and liaise with treasury to maintain finance monthly client liability listing across all Global entities of the Group.
Ensure allocated balance sheet accounts are fully reconciled each month for all entities within the Group
Support the Accounts receivable function by ensuring correct customer receipt allocation, preparing monthly debtor days dashboard, and assisting the FP&A team where required.
Prepare workings for inter-company management recharges and ensure inter company invoices are prepared and posted on accounting system via concur.
Assist senior financial accountant to maintain a monthly summarised dashboard of inter-company trading account balances by revenue streams.
Formulate internal policy for inter-company loan arrangements and inter-company interest calculations.
Assist with of Group annual audit process and tax compliance
Review prepayments and Fixed asset register prepared by other members of team.
Provide support for variance analysis for actual spend vs budget/re-forecast
Assist in setting up operational expense budgets for all Group entities
Provide cover for the finance assistant and other colleagues when required.
Maintain up to date documentation and process notes for the finance functions.
Complete other ad-hoc tasks, projects, and financial analysis to support management.
The Successful Applicant
To be successful in this role it is essential that you have recent, relevant experience from within the Financial Services sector, with FX being of particular advantage. You will also be immediately available to commence in the role and able to commit for at least 6 months, possibly longer. IN addition you will be working toward your professional accounting qualification.
