Location: Acton, London — Excellent transport links, Acton Town station only 5 minutes’ walk, ample car parking onsite.

Role: ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL – HEAD OF SIXTH FORM

Start Date: – September 2022 (or sooner)

Salary: L10 – L14 (Ark, Inner London)

Closing date: 11 March 2022

Contract: Full-time hours, permanent contract.

Ark Acton Academy is on an exciting improvement journey and we are looking for an Assistant Principal to join us and help us continue to be the school our students deserve. We are a fully comprehensive school that is proud of its diversity and our 6th form is a beacon of success.
We have an ALPS score of 1 and year on year secure very strong progression for our students. We run two main post-16 pathways and as a result of careful guidance and excellent teaching, many of our students take up places at high tariff universities including Oxbridge, Medical school and Russell group universities, with others securing places on competitive apprenticeships. We have a tradition of securing places for our students at US Ivy League universities, mainly on full scholarships.
We are now looking for someone to come and grow the post-16 offer, ensuring that we can offer the right pathway for every student and help them secure the next stage of their education.
