Department Overview:
Performance & Reward team is responsible for supporting the Performance & Rewards strategy, particularly on the “Rewards” and “Employee Benefits” work-streams within our Global Service Centers by providing expert advice and guidance on development, implementation, and review in the areas of Performance management, Rewards, and Benefits
Opportunity:
The jobholder plays a significant role in overseeing the development and implementation of successful delivery of P&R projects and initiatives for clients across the geographic location for the Global Service Centers, ensuring they align with the Global guidelines, the HR policies, and the objective of businesses. The jobholder works closely with the country HR teams to develop and implement Benefit policies in spread across entities.
This covers a range of P&R activities including reward, performance management, executive compensation, deferred reward, global mobility, employee benefits and wellbeing to support the Bank’s strategic objectives and business priorities.
Responsibilities:
Support the implementation of relevant Performance & Reward policies and programs within the business, aligned with Group Performance & Reward, and coordinate key strategic processes, working through the Generalist teams
Coordinate, complete and review a broad range of complex and specialized operational duties within HR Performance and Rewards, ensuring timely completion and compliance with established internal standards and external regulations. Acts as subject matter expert and support for problem resolution.
Lead the implementation of P&R initiatives for the client group. Examples include the creation of global objectives, managing recognition programmes and undertaking Job evaluation
Responsible for ongoing monitoring of all key P&R metrics, highlighting issues, trends and providing cost–benefit analysis of P&R initiatives
Maintain P&R knowledge by keeping abreast of published materials, competitor practice, external market developments and trends and legislative and regulatory developments
Responsible for providing effective, relevant and timely reporting, analysis and insights to support the execution of P&R policies and programs
Responsible for ongoing monitoring of all key P&R metrics, highlighting issues, trends and providing cost–benefit analysis of P&R initiatives
Fulfil all reporting and analytics requirements to support the successful execution of the year-end process, covering all aspects of performance management, pay review and benefits enrolment in the client country/region
Monitor and manage cases raised via the HR case management platform, providing accurate and timely responses to business/HR stakeholders
Proactively participate in P&R analytics forums as a representative of the client country/region to provide input into P&R processes and practices and to ensure P&R system readiness ahead of key activities (e.g. completing UAT and data/system checks prior to pay review)
Provide quality assurance of annual performance and pay review processes by conducting audits and reviews to ensure stakeholders are operating within the requirements of the P&R governance framework
Act as product champion for P&R to stakeholders across the HR function and within the business, building awareness and adoption of relevant products and processes, including the use and acceptance of total compensation, incorporating local business needs and regulatory requirements as appropriate
Provide ad-hoc compensation analysis / queries as requested from time to time
Requirements
Master’s Degree in Human Resource
7-9 years of required and demonstrated HR experience/ responsibility in managing Rewards and Benefits in one or more of the countries in which Global Capability Centers are located
Good working knowledge and understanding of current benefit legislation and statutory requirements for countries in which GCCs operate
Proficiency with personal computers and thorough knowledge of applicable HR systems required
Strong understanding of the HR database and available analytical reports
High regard for confidentiality and discretion
Additional skills:
Exposure in working with multi-countries based teams
Ability to work well independently in a high volume environment
Relationship Management; ability to navigate through complex, matrix organizations
Strong consulting, research, customer service, problem-solving and organizational skills
