Job Description : Accountancy Practice Specialists Taylor Rose Recruitment are working with a forward thinking firm in Central Birmingham who, due to continued growth are seeking an Audit Senior to join their team.
You will get the opportunity to work with an impressive and high profile client base including international groups, OMBs, charities and would suit an ambitious Audit Senior individual looking for continued professional development.
The successful individual will be ACA/ ACCA/ ICAS qualified (Finalists and Part Qualified also considered) and experienced in leading external audits from planning through to completion whilst leading teams of junior staff. You will also have a good working knowledge of reporting standards including UK GAAP, IFRS and FRS 102.

Responsibilities:
Leading external audits from planning to completion
Oversee all aspects from planning & fieldwork through to finalisation
Review of year end financial statements under UK GAAP and FRS102.
Ensure planned audit work is appropriately completed to satisfy audit objectives.
Control the audit in relation to timescales, budgets and risk management procedure
Supervising & developing more junior members of staff
Dealing with client queries
Requirements:
ACA/ ACCA Qualified
ACA/ ACCA Finalist/ Part Qualified also considered
Experience of leading audits from planning to completion
Practice experience is essential
