Job Description : Search Consultancy are delighted to be working with a leading Scottish Private Practice to appoint an Audit Senior to join their growing audit team in Edinburgh that will provide an exciting opportunity for an individual looking for a new challenge that will allow them to develop both their technical and leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities
Support with the planning, performing and completing of audit assignments
Responsible for all aspects of work across the audit assignments
Take an active role in the budget setting process and ensure that audit tasks are completed inline with budgets
Prepare and review all of the audit documentation and drafts for the financial statements
Manage and prioritise workload to ensure all work is completed to deadlines
Take a leading role within the audit team and assigning work to more junior members of the team and provide coaching and mentoring.
Develop strong working relationships with your clients, the audit team and wider firm.
Your Profile
A fully or part qualified accountant with prior practice experience.
Possess a strong track record of leading on site audits
Excellent technical knowledge
Strong team player
Ability to work collaboratively
Excellent numerical and data analysis skills
High levels of attention to detail
