Job Description : Create, edit and design electrical, structural and/or control drawings to meet specifications utilizing CAD Experience with electric control design, or electric substation design, or electric power design >1000 volts Assist Engineer with parts lists, cost estimating, and plans & specifications development Provide backup for other employees Strong oral and written communication skills Initiate follow-up to update documentation when any changes may occur Accurately complete paperwork for project tracking costs Classify and file engineering drawings Ensure that all work is carried out in a safe and efficient manner Perform other duties as assigned/needed per Engineer Maintain a positive attitude with team Maintain good public relations High level of integrity and discipline with strong work ethic Job responsibilities include Site Supervision, design, basic engineering and detailed engineering, costestimation and project co-ordination. Responsible for electrical projects design engineering and quality assurance Preparing BOQ/ Quotation (Electrical) High and Low voltage power distribution, single line diagram, Protection schemes, HV Switchyard/Substation layout, lighting, cable routing layout, Earthing & lightning protection layout as per layoutinstallation & commission work Man hour’s estimation and budgetary estimation for project proposal Design Calculations as Transformer sizing, DG set sizing, Cable Sizing, Short circuit, Fault level, voltage drop,Lighting design, Earthing and selection of switch gear starter and ups Interacting with client, contractor, vendor and other engineering services for design coordination and siteexecution QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Musthave excellent computer knowledge and problem solving skills. Must have knowledge of drafting and experiencewith CAD and Microsoft Office. Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively with team members andclients.
