Job Description : A position is available for an experienced technician to join the team for a challenging roll within a western Sydney based leading importer & distributor of on-board scale systems for heavy vehicles.
Loadmass is a family run business and has been operating in the industry for over 20 years.
The company provides on board weighing systems for many vehicle applications and Loadmass distributes products from the Loadman & Airtec range, as well as its own in house produced components.
Regulations for heavy vehicles changed in 2021, where on board scales were made mandatory for certain vehicle/ applications. Therefore an opportunity has become available and we are now seeking a dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team located in Arndell Park.
The individual would be joining a great company which consists of a small close knit team focused on working together to achieve the same goal.
A company in an industry sector which is set to grow rapidly within the next 5 years.
The position, will require you to be responsible for the complete scale system installation, the provision of technical customer support & the development of relationships with customers.
With new technologies, your technical qualifications in Auto Electrical or a related trade are a must. Experience with computer based electronic vehicle systems, will be highly regarded and the ideal candidate would be able to assist in the development of our new app based product.
As would a sound knowledge of heavy vehicles & equipment. This is an autonomous role, the ideal applicant will be self-motivated with excellent time management skills.
Full training will be provided by Loadmass.
Duties & Responsibilities;
Installation of on board scale system
Calibration of on board scale system
Repairs & Troubleshooting of existing systems
Component assembly
Workshop & Onsite installations required
Intra and Inter-state travel (all travel expenses will be fully paid for by the company.)
