Soleus People are recruiting for Band 5 Mental Health Nurse to work in a Mental Health hospital and community teams based in the North East of the UK.
Our client has a range of inpatient and community shifts available across a variety of specialisms inclusive of:
Low, Medium & High secure units
Eating disorders
Drug & Alcohol
Older Adults
Acute
PICU
COVID ward
Crisis Teams
Community teams
Learning Disabilities
We are looking Band 5 Mental Health Nurse to have the ability to hit the ground running, so relevant experience within the Mental Health settings above are vital to support with annual leave, sickness and substantive vacancies.
Our client is looking for Band 5 Mental Health Nurse to work a minimum of 3+ shifts per week.
Type of shifts available:
Long days
Earlies
Lates
Nights
Band 5 Mental Health Nurse rates from:
PAYE – £28.50p/h – £37p/h
Umbrella – £33p/h – £43p/h
You will also be required to complete the trusts e-meds training which can be done online in the comfort of you own home.
If you are looking for a block booking, our client offers free Violence & Aggression practical training aligned to their wards for regular workers to feel like part of the team. This is a 5 day course but you will be paid for your attendance.

As a Band 5 Mental Health Nurse, you will need to hold the following requirements:
All Required Proof of immunisations
At least 6 months UK experience within a similar setting
A valid NMC Pin
Nursing Diploma
