Job Description
What you’ll be doing:
Be part of an Agile engineering team, maintaining the highest level of analytical Engineering
and DevOps principles and practices throughout the Software Development and
Maintenance Life Cycle by engaging with development and operations teams.
Be an active member of the team that acts as first line of support for all customers tickets
(L2 & L3) & queries.
Orchestrate and participate in on-call cycles according to our incident management,
escalation protocols and adherence to their SLAs
Maintain data management and storage solutions, such as databases, search indices, file
storage, backup, recovery and persistent storage volumes.
Understand and contribute to the backlog refinement process for improvements of features
Ability to understand, debug and provide solutions as needed in accordance with best
practices before and after launch, catching and solving issues as and when they occur.
A passionate hands-on engineer who enjoys working in production system with a minimum of 5+ years of experience in Information sector
Excellent communication and articulation skills, ability to stay focused on completing time-
sensitive tasks and meeting goals within a busy workspace.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Process-oriented with great documentation skills.
Excellent experience with database management (SQL and NoSQL) and OLAPs – AwS
databases and warehouses are preferred.
Hands on experience with cloud computing services, especially AWS ecosystem services like
S3 data lake, Redshift warehouse, ECS, RDS, Lambda, SQS/SNS and related analytical
capabilities.
Hands on experience with Agile methodologies and implementations like Kanban/ XP.
Individual should be singularly capable of creating, deploying and maintaining well-
architected cloud applications, using automation to ensure zero-touch reliance on human
activity to achieve high performance, security, resilience and scalability.
Good knowledge of DevOps principles and practices.
Hands on experience scripting in Python / R including object-oriented programming
patterns.
Nice to have experience in container orchestration skills using Docker.
