Job Description
Design and implement scalable Big Data architecture solutions for various application needs.
Proficient with Hadoop ecosystem and architecture components
Experience with NoSQL and Big data platforms
Ability to work with large data sets, highly diverse data in multiple types and formats and sources
Experience with public and private Cloud
Ensure effective design and development of system architectures through embedded Enterprise Architects; employing effective governance methods for transparency and communication.
Analyze multiple sources of structured and unstructured data to propose and design data architecture solutions for scalability, high availability, fault tolerance, and elasticity.
Set architectural vision and direction across a matrix of teams. Develop conceptual, logical and physical design for various data types and large volumes.
Implement Big Data systems in alignment with enterprise architecture and infrastructure guidelines and standards.
Implement security, encryption best practices for Big Data environments.
Provide support in defining the scope and sizing of work
Align the organization’s big data solutions with their Client initiatives as requested
Engage with clients to understand strategic requirements
Responsible for translating business requirements into technology solutions
Work with domain experts to put together a delivery plan with and stay on track
In addition to the technical skills they need to possess, applicants must also have adept understanding of the various phases of the Software Development Life Cycle and familiarity using Source Code and Version Control systems like SVN, Git, etc.
Effective communication, relationship management skills and strong analytical, problem solving, out of box thinking and organizational abilities.
Excellent interpersonal relationship skills and ability to coordinate with internal teams such as finance, legal, solution, practice, delivery as well as senior leadership
Comfortable in working in the backend to support the sales/customer-facing roles
Prefer TOGAF Certification
