Job Description : Job descriptionWe are a 30 bed Family Run Care Home and we are looking to replace a member of staff who is moving abroad, so we require a Full Time /part time Care Assistant for days and 1 day every alternate weekend, to work alongside our experienced staff to provide all aspects of day to day care, whilst ensuring the emotional and physical needs of our clients are met at all times. We are looking for a carer who has the following qualities; patience, kindness, understanding and importantly the desire to care and is a reliable individual.We endeavour to overstaff so our staff are not hurried in their work.In return the successful applicant’s will receive;Competitive rate of pay – dependable on Experience and Qualifications£9.80 or higher if you have more qualifications. Meds training etcCareer progressionNVQ Training providedVarious Training including Manual Handling, Infection Control and Food Hygiene,First aid, End of life,Safeguarding adults.Free Uniform Provided5.6 Weeks HolidayFree DBS check carried out as long as you are employed for over 6 monthsAll Training PaidCompany PensionPaid InductionExperience within a Dementia Care setting is desirable although full training will be given for the right Candidate.
