Ideally, you’ll have relevant experience and qualifications, however, we offer full training to those wishing to enter the care industry who have a caring nature and demonstrate our core values of kindness and empathy.Key Accountabilities: To deliver all tasks stated on the care plans to an excellent standard and in accordance with all The Private Care Company’s policies and procedures, best practice, agreed standards, legislative requirements, relevant regulationsTo carry out and assist clients of The Private Care Company with a variety of personal and practical care tasks which may include helping to wash, getting dressed, light housework, laundry, shopping etc.To support client’s food and fluid intake as directed by the care plan, and to ensure documentation of all intake as per trainingTo maintain care skills at the required level and undertake such training and development as may from time to time be requiredTo communicate with and report any incidents to the Care Manager as necessary to ensure high standards of care are deliveredTo liaise with other professionals such as district nurses, doctors, pharmacists, occupational therapists etc, to ensure that clients receive a high standard of careTo manage own workload of allocated client visits and to be responsible for documenting each client visit on the online care planning appSkills / Experience / Knowledge: The Care Certificate (full training provided)Multi-skilled care delivery capabilityGood written and oral communication skillsPerson Profile: Team playerAbility to think on feetKind, caring and patientAble to manage difficult situationsReliableLives in local areaFull clean driving license and own car (essential)Working Hours: 0700 – 1300hrs3 or 4 day routes to include 1 weekend dayJob Types: Part-time, PermanentPart-time hours: 18-24 per weekSalary: From £10.40 per hourBenefits:Company pensionFlexible scheduleFree or subsidised travelReferral programmeWellness programmesSchedule:Day shiftCOVID-19 considerations:Uniform and PPE providedExperience:care: 1 year (preferred)Licence/Certification:Driving Licence and access to a car (required)
