Role Summary
Development Engineer: Most companies will be able to match to a specific development engineering position. Use this position if company does not identify their development engineering positions by functional designations. Plans, designs and develops hardware, software, semiconductor or telecommunications systems. If 75 percent of the time is spent performing a specific engineering function, use that as a job match. Specific functions can include: Hardware Development Engineer (5021-5026), Software Development Engineer (5101-5106), Electronic Design Engineer (5061-5066), Software Engineer (Applications) (5141-5146), Software Engineer (Systems) (5161-5166). Key Responsibilities
The CI/CD Automation Expert will strategize CI & coordinate with representatives from different teams in defining software configuration, continuous integration and tools automation standards that will be used by different products with the Business Unit.
He will be involved in developing and maintaining CI framework using latest tools and technologies.
Lead the team technically to implement DevOps solution
Good exposure with L1 Physical layer concepts and working with Radio products
Strong knowledge and experience with test automation framework development
Lead the automation team for build tools that will be used by CI teams.
Management of Repo and branching strategy
Implementation and maintenance of build systems and s/w promotion
Advance CI f/w development/maintenance using latest DevOps tool
Supporting the component teams with resolution of build/tool issues reported.
Job Requirements
Good exposure to Build & Build Automation Tools : Jenkins, Make, Maven
Hands on experience with ROBOT framework and test procedures.
Proven automation experience for product integration testing.
Scripting: Shell, Python
Good experience SCM Tools : SVN , GIT/GERRIT/BITBUCKET – repo creation, branching stand repo management
Hands on experience with Artifactory, Nexus, Docker, Ansible, TexExposure to
Open Source CI system/tools like zuul, sonarQube
Exposure to CI Monitoring tools – Grafana
Good team player, commitment to high quality, good analytical skills, pro activeness, flexibility and passionate about work
