The opportunity
As a full stack engineer in NITRO, you will be in the thick of things! You will work on the most difficult & fun phases of technology innovation:
Have fun experimenting with emerging technology, participating in hackathons etc.
Participate in ideating, innovating and incubating ideas to life
Work closely together with mainstream engineering functions to ensure prototypes/MVPs can form the basis for production solutions
Have strong tolerance for ambiguity
Quick learner with “can do” attitude
Display leadership qualities and be enthusiastic to tackle new problems across the full stack as we continue to push technology forward
Your key responsibilities
Be very strong in data structures, problem solving, building to scale by leveraging cloud computing
Handle ambiguity and able to move forward with imperfect information and get things done in a rapidly changing environment
Must be comfortable working in an environment where ideas are challenged
Takes pride in producing clean, re-usable code and takes full ownership of the quality of code
Skills and attributes for success
Experience in use of cloud computing especially Platform as a Service (Azure preferred)
Strong technical competency in designing, developing, and debugging solutions
Strong Knowledge in the following technology areas: dotnet (core), SQL.
Basic knowledge of operating systems and how they work (i.e. Operating systems courses); Container technologies; Internet Services; and/or Managed Services
Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills that are required to operate as a leading member of global, distributed teams that deliver quality services and solutions.
Knowledge and experience in IT methodologies and life cycles that will be used.
Expert in patterns and practices in .NET/C#
Experience in Docker and Kubernetes
Experience in front end / UI technologies including frameworks such as React/Angular/Backbone/Bootstrap/Node. Proficiency in Mobile/Responsive UIs Keen understanding of Application, Infrastructure and resilience.
To qualify for the role, you must have
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, Mathematics, or related field preferred
7-10 years applied experience
5+ years of application development using dotnet/java web application using standard design patterns and frameworks like JDBC/Hibernate/OpenJPA/Spring/Spring Boot.
3+ years of writing/using SOAP and REST web services.
2+ years of Microservices and Cloud development.
Experience with multi-tier system and service design and development for large enterprises
Experience with multiple databases such as RDBMS, NoSQL document and KV stores, NoSql wide column.
Expert in ASP.NET / ASP.NET Core
Experience in Docker and Kubernetes
