Job Description : Main duties of the job

We are looking for an exceptional Clinical Practice Educator to join our nursing team based at Chase Farm Hospital (part of the Royal Free NHS Trust). . We use digital technology to improve patient outcomes.

You must be knowledgeable about all aspects of surgery, passionate about teaching and committed to developing, motivating and inspiring our nursing team within elective surgery.

As a Clinical Practice Educator you will be working alongside the staff on the surgical ward and helping develop our Enhanced Surgical Care Unit (ESCU) into a post anaesthetic care unit (PACU). . The surgical ward patient group includes the following specialties:

Orthopaedics

Breast

Gynaecology

Urology

Oral and Maxillofacial

General surgery

Oncology

Proven experience as a Band 6 nurse in a High Dependency / acute setting
