What You’ll Do
We are looking for a Cloud Architect (AWS) to join our Engineering team. Utilize Cloud Native and Hybrid Model to design and architect cutting edge solutions Lead, coach team members, provide design solutions to teams, review the deliverables Implement well-designed responsive highly low latency based secured, scalable, durable, resilient, fault-tolerant micro services-based global infrastructure Implement and deploy infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code principle Experience designing Cloud migration strategy, different cloud models, cost estimations and DevOps Participate in the design of front-end/back-end applications. Building and maintaining the common libraries, SDKs, and relevant documentation Helping teams adopt and contribute to common tooling, frameworks, and seed repositories Establishing processes and techniques for effectively sharing and versioning libraries and components across teams and products Participate in the design of the workflows and user interactions to provide the best user experience and streamline the application flows Work in an agile team with product owners and engineers in a collaborative environment. Participate in long- and short-term planning, develop and maintain personal schedule. Good to have understanding of cloud based front-end/back-end applications, leading a team. Who You Are? Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or related field) with 15+ years of developing experience Minmum one Programming Language: Java, .Net, C#, Go lang, Python Web Concepts: REST, JSON, XML. Good cloud technology understandings and ability to architect multi-cloud and hybrid solutions DevOps – CICD, Infrastructure architecting and work with DevOps team to implement secured, scalable, durable, resilient, fault-tolerant micro services-based global infrastructure Experience working with CDK, Scripting and administrative platforms. Expertise working with cloud administration / monitoring tools, troubleshoot incidences and prompt alerts / reporting Experience working with CloudFormation / Terraform Expertise in Unit testing frameworks, tools Experience working Must be AWS certified AWS Associate Solution Architect or Professional certification. Well-factored codebases with thorough test coverage – experience in continuous integration and delivery. Experience in working in highly collaborative teams using Agile Methodologies. Ability to solve problems quickly and independently, but with a strong team spirit (helping others, asking for help, and global responsibility and accountability). Excellent written and verbal communication skills for conveying complex technical concepts, architecture, and technical strategy to other teams and leadership. Ability to demonstrate a team-first attitude towards software development Experience designing/developing scalable systems Experience working with various data stores: SQL, NoSQL, and/or key-value store a plus Experience with MongoDB other NoSQL is a plus Experience with, or willingness to learn. Good to have Frameworks: React, Redux, Angular Cloud infrastructure (Google Cloud Platform, Azure) Mature engineering practices (CI/CD, testing, secure coding, etc.)
