Job Description : Job Title: Cognos AdminExperience Required: 7 to 10 years of experienceLocation: BangaloreRoles:As an experienced Cognos professional, you will be making decisions of a global and strategic nature that impact our customers, clients, and businesses. Must be able to troubleshoot, configure, and upgrade BI systems and Cognos components as well as monitor application testing and production environments. The role requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, independence, and entrepreneurial ability to work with minimal direction.Key Responsibilities:- Administer Cognos and installed Cognos, potentially on the cloud, etc.- Framework development, configuration and Cognos data modeling.- Perform troubleshooting on all Cognos helpdesk tickets.- Present Ideas/solutions to Senior management.Job Qualifications:Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, MIS, or related field;Essential Qualifications:- 5+ years working with Cognos tools using Cognos Framework.- Experienced in administering and operating a Cognos 11 reporting environment is a requirement.- Experienced in creating, enhancing and maintaining Framework Manager models to support business requirements using IBM Cognos 11.0- Provide technical support to the Cognos power users; Document Cognos standards and procedures and provide production support; Implement and maintain Cognos security.- Interface with Cognos Corporation for technical support; Create and maintain scripts and evaluate new releases of software.- Prepare all designs and code for various Cognos reporting objects and ensure compliance to all best business practices.- Experience with PowerShell scripting.- Knowledgeable of Cognos multitenancy and Cognos JCAP (java Cognos Custom Authentication provider) deployment.- Knowledgeable of migration of Cognos reports/packages.- Strong communication skills – verbal and written and ability to work collaboratively as a team.- Should be very comfortable with rapid deployment environment.- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.Preferred Qualifications:- Proficient with Java.- Design, develop, implement and support Cognos dashboards and reports according to requirements.Develop and perform tests on various enterprises and provide dashboard solutions with help of Cognos software and assist all end users.- Work with business users to design and develop reports.Job Type: Full-timeExperience:total work: 1 year (Preferred)
