Job Description : The Corporate Technology (CT) organization provides technology solutions for the Corporate Functions at JPMorgan Chase, including Risk Management, Compliance, Finance, Corporate Treasury, Human Resources, Legal, and all functions within the Corporate Administrative Office (CAO).
The Risk, Compliance and Controls (RCC) Technology team within Corporate Technology delivers a wide range of technology solutions to support the firm’s Risk Management functions (Credit Risk, Market Risk, Country Risk, Operational Risk, Reputational Risk), Compliance functions (Trade Surveillance, Financial Crimes, Electronic Communication, Employee Compliance), and Control functions (first and second line of defense controls).
This role will have 3 primary responsibilities:
Identify and develop core components and frameworks needed across RCC and the firm as we modernize our applications onto Cloud, Big Data, Containerization, User Experience etc..
Partner and help colleagues in RCC and the firm wide functions to define and execute on an accelerated digital roadmap
Remove friction points that prevent teams from developing at speed and transform at scale the various technology platforms with in RCC
Minimum 10 years of experience in building enterprise level solutions with recent and meaningful experience in digital transformation
Financial Industry experience preferred but not required
In addition:
Strong Architecture experience in building enterprise applications across varied platforms
Hands on technologist with strong expertise in building reliable, scalable, and stable enterprise applications leveraging top 3 public Cloud vendors, preferably AWS
Strong big data skills primarily Spark and Hadoop is highly desired.
Strong application design skills with a focus on delivering cloud native solutions
Strong expertise in designing applications leveraging RDBMS, CI/CD Pipelines, Agile, BI Tools, Programming Languages (Java, Python)
Strong analytical and communication skills both written and verbal
