Inviting applications for the role of Pentaho Consultant
Responsibilities
Strong business intelligence expertise, business knowledge and technical skills to successfully
Deliver Business Intelligence solutions based on Pentaho BI Platform.
Analyzing, designing, testing and coding of BI front end applications and backend engines
According to business requirements.
Expert in Pentaho BI Suite including Pentaho Report Designer, Pentaho Data Integration,
Pentaho User Console, Pentaho Metadata Editor, Pentaho Schema Workbench
Strong Expertise in UI technologies Java scripts, CSS and HTML.
Working knowledge on JavaScript including D3.js, Angular.js, and Node.js would be appreciated.
Expertize knowledge about CDE Dashboard, CAC, CGG, CCC etc.
Knowledge on Mondrian schema, Star schema, Snow flake schema is must.
Strong expertise in writing SQL scripts, functions, stored procedures, complex SQL queries, PL/SQL analytical functions, hierarchical, parent-child queries
Experience of designing and developing highly interactive reports and dashboards
Experience in Pentaho data integration (kettle) jobs, transformations, steps and hadoop-hdfs-hive based data transformation is a big plus
Experience with ETL loads for Facts and Dimension tables
Participate in the end to end lifecycle of BI implementations including Design, Development,
Deploy and Evolve
Passion and interest in Business Intelligence, Dashboards, Reports, Data-modelling and ETL Processes and Data Integration
Preferred Skills
Experience in Pentaho BI tools (C-tools) including ETL using Pentaho Data Integration (Kettle and Spoon)
Experience in Big Data visualization using Pentaho Instaview.
Experience with Map/Reduce and Hive on Hadoop is a plus.
Analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills and ability to work with a technical team

Strong time management and organizational skills
