Social Media Manager
Who We Are Looking For:
The ideal candidate is a natural content creator who lives and breathes all things social media. You’re up to date with the latest social trends and best practices, you’re the first to test out new platforms and features when they launch, and you follow best-in class brands to stay inspired.
You have a knack for storytelling, and a talent for producing engaging visual content in a variety of formats from photography, graphics, GIFs, Instagram stories and reels, videos, and more. You love making inspiring content and engaging with audiences. If that sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you!
Responsibilities include:
You will be responsible for creating dynamic, compelling content and packaging it in ways that are best-suited to each social platform whether that be through video highlights, IG reels, stories, imagery, and more. You will manage the day to day of our social accounts and be confident in knowing what content is suited to each platform and how best to optimize (IG, FB, LinkedIn, etc). The ideal candidate should be an avid user of social media, and has had previous experience identifying and working with digital influencers and content creators.
Key Responsibilities:
Create and oversee the execution of Outpost’s social media strategy. This includes content planning, strategizing and storytelling framework.
Curate Outpost’s social media content calendar, pulling in photography, user-generated content, Outpost event recaps, and more.
Develop creative and new ideas to expand Outpost’s social media growth and reach.
Read, respond and engage with followers’ comments on social media channels.
Define most important social media KPIs and be able to measure the success of social media campaigns.
Foster and build relationships with digital influencers and creators to drive awareness of Outpost’s live, work and travel lifestyle.
Work with our in-house designer to create social media graphic assets.
Assist Marcomms team in creating communications and content for website, member e-mails, and sales materials as needed.
Stay up to date with latest social media best practices and technologies.
Qualifications:
Proven social media experience creating content and growing social channels at a brand, agency, or start-up.
Excellent/Native English social copywriting skills.
Ability to deliver creative and visually engaging content (text, image and video).
Experience with photography and video is a plus.
Job Requirements:
A degree in marketing, communications, and other relevant field.
4+ years of experience working in community engagement.
Fluent in English is a Must.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
