Job Description : Archway Green Ltd are one of the UK’s top commercial landscaping businesses with more than 50 years’ experience of developing and nurturing landscapes and environments.We are looking for a Credit Controller to join our team. The ideal candidate will have worked within the construction industry and be familiar with the payment applications process.If you thrive on delivering great customer service and have a passion for Credit Control this could be the ideal opportunity for you, if you are keen to deliver excellent results to tight timescales and can demonstrate experience in working to targets, we are waiting to hear from you.Main Duties and Responsibilities: · Ensure that applications issued to construction clients are paid in a timely manner· Chase overdue invoices by telephone, email & letter within agreed timescales· Maintain accurate records of all chasing activity and prepare reports on same when requested· Manage queries from clients in a prompt, efficient manner ensuring all queries are dealt with to completion· Regularly make contact with clients and give consistent communication with our team· Handle disputed applications and negotiate to collect payment within the agreed terms· Meet cash & debtor day targets set by managementPerson Specifications: · At least 1 years’ experience in a busy credit control or billing function· Excellent communication skills· Meticulous written and spoken English· Strong team player with confidence to work on your own initiative when requiredAble to pick up new systems quickly and ideally familiar with Microsoft applications such as ExcelFull or Part Time hours availableSalary £28,500 FTEJob Types: Full-time, Part-timePart-time hours: 20 per weekSchedule:Monday to FridayExperience:accounting: 1 year (preferred)credit control: 1 year (preferred)
