Job Description : OVERVIEWDue to a restructure in preparation for growth within the business you’ll be joining this organisation as the standalone Credit Controller working closing with the Finance Manager.Your role will be handling the day-to-day Credit Control & Sales Ledger for the UK & EU and supporting with month end close and reporting.Ahead of the growth they are looking for someone whose background is credit control through and through. The current process works but here you’ll really be able to thrive, taking ownership of the department being the type of individual keen to expand and implement processes for continuous improvement, wanting to evolve the role and offer your experience and guidance to the Finance manager of this area.Due to systems etc currently you will need to be in the office full time for the first few months but as a new person coming in this will allow you to really understand the workings of the business and start to build the internal relationships. As part of the new set up from the summer hybrid working is something that the FM will then be able to offer.THE ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES OVERVIEWFull responsibility for the Sales LedgerManaging the debt collection processCredit insurance reportingNew customer setup and managing existing customersManaging UK & EU accountsChecking and positing of receipts to accounting system.Weekly & monthly reportingMonth end closedown.REQUIREMENTSExperience in a similar standalone or senior credit control position is essentialConfident with ExcelFully office based initially – hybrid available after the first few monthsParking AvailableJob Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: £26,000.00-£30,000.00 per yearSchedule:Monday to FridayExperience:accounting: 1 year (preferred)credit control: 1 year (preferred)
