Job Description
The Data Automation Software Engineer will be the primary developer for multiple customer-facing software applications that integrate multiple data sources and integrate multiple APIs into centralized control consoles. The Engineer will work in a diverse and distributed research and development team to contribute to leading-edge software tools, support open-source software initiatives, and work directly with federal and commercial customers to understand and refine requirements and demonstrate capabilities.
Support development team with design and build of a custom data parsing and analysis dashboard, delivering data on security baseline enforcement for such things as STIG and CIS baselines for Operating Systems, Cloud resources, and App Layer installations
Integrate dashboards with Ansible automation/Lockdown Enterprise and related customer technologies
Design, create and support a new product initiative alongside internal MindPoint Group projects such as the Ansible Lockdown project and Lockdown Enterprise product lines
Offer data visualization and automation‐oriented strategic advisory and assistance services
Engage stakeholders to help develop requirements and strengthen their automation capabilities
Qualifications
US Citizen required
Experience programming in .NET required
Experience with XML and JSON required
Experience with Crowdstrike software is strongly desired
Experience with automation and cloud management tools required: Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Terraform, helm, Kubernetes
Knowledge of container management and orchestration tools required
Experience with other modern programming languages desired: Python, Go, JavaScript
Experience in systems administration in Linux and Microsoft operating systems desired
Knowledge of ELK stack, Consul, Grafana, or other dashboarding tools, as well as custom report generation desired
Splunk, Sumo Logic, or other SIEM system knowledge desired
Knowledge of both relational and nosql database reporting/queries desired
Experience implementing and working in a continuous integration (CI) or continuous development (CD) pipeline desired
