Job Description:

Role : Development Manager

What do we expect:
Great team player, innovator at heart with an excellent interpersonal skill who is passionate about technology, have a strong interest in the latest technologies – mandatory
B.E/B.Tech in Computer Science/Software Engineering or equivalent
More than 10+ years of hands-on experience with software development – mandatory
Experience and passion for developing Data model, Strong Knowledge on OOPS and development technologies, methodologies, and techniques – Java / C++/ Strong Knowledge on SQL etc. – mandatory
Strong database background with proven experience in development of database rich applications
In depth understanding of various technology trends and the ability to present their potential impact – advantage
Team leadership/project management skill – an ability to plan & deliver the technical project (quality) on time.
Experience working in an Agile environment preferred and Agile / SCRUM Certification is a plus!
Good written and spoken communication skills
Possess project management skill – an ability to plan & deliver the technical project (quality) on time.
Experience in Build and manage development best practices, identify process gaps and setup procedures as needed, set standards for the teams for adherence
Expertise in development estimation methodologies and possessing strong experience on risk management.
Experience of working in product development role and / or product company is preferred.
Experience driving technical workshops with technical and business clients to derive value added services and implementations

What can you expect from the role
Responsible for the development and delivery of the projects within timeline and budget.
Responsible for measuring the productivity of the team and steps to increase the productivity of the team.
Manage pool of technology enthusiasts. Having overall responsibility for development teams and team leads. In addition, as a SME mentor team member with up-to-date technology and engineering best practices.
Recruit, train and mentor development resources. Participate in design decisions on various projects
Responsible for allocating required resources to the projects such that project timelines and quality targets are met.
Reporting implementation progress, meeting budgetary targets, quality products and more.
High level technical problem solving
Be responsible to create processes for effective product development and delivery. Take ownership of product build and code design and quality.
Assist in troubleshooting complex technical problems in development and production scenarios.
Managing the work plan including constant monitoring of its tasks, impact of changes, and escalations.
