DevOps team is critical part of Realpage Inc. IT CORE team. Team plays an active role in release pipeline automation.
WHAT YOUâLL DO:

As a DevOps ENGINEER II, you will report to the Sr. MANAGER.
Engineer II, primarily will be responsible for release pipeline automation across multiple environment. Also should closely work with US team.
Should be flexible to work in SHIFTS (If required)
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Working with subversion tools such as GIT, Team Foundation Server (TFS), etc.
Experience working with CI/CD tools such as TFS, Azure DevOps (ADO), Jenkins and must create a pipeline
Capable to script C#, Java, PowerShell, Python, Bash
Experience working with build tools such as MS Build, Ant, Maven or Gradle, etc.
Understanding of Configuration management tool like Chef, Puppet or Ansible is a must.
Setting up of Artifacts in any Artifactory management tool like Nexus or JFrog.
Troubleshooting the issues encountered in pipelines.
Analyze the problem statement and provide an appropriate solution for the issues encountered with a valid RCA.
Understanding any Cloud technology will help to work AWS/Azure deployments.
Knowledge on Docker/Kubernetes technology & resolving the issues and containerize the applications.
Responsible to take Changes/Releases for successful deployments.
Adapt to take ownership of tools and manage their infrastructure.
Perform software/system updates to cloud servers·
Create and maintain Continuous Integration (CI)/Continuous Delivery (CD) pipelines·
Build and oversee release platform infrastructure·
Lead and coordinate the “Go-Live” activities including the execution of the deployment plans and checklist procedures·
Help in defining, maintaining procedures and tools that are used to deliver releases in a repeatable and scalable manner.
Perform as technical liaison for Engineering and SRE on every aspect associated with final builds and control baseline issues
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Certifications: DevOps Admin, Azure, Ansible.
Lead the technical evaluation and selection process for improving performance by overseeing gap analysis studies, feasible alternative solutions, and recommending and/or approving the scope of modifications.
Evaluate new application packages and tools and performs research on best practices.
Understanding any Cloud technology will help to work AWS/Azure deployments.
Knowledge on Docker/Kubernetes technology & resolving the issues and containerize the applications.
Responsible to take Changes/Releases for successful deployments.
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Mandatory 4+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer.
Ability to work with CI/CD tools such as TFS, Azure DevOps (ADO), Jenkins and must have experience in creating a pipeline
Ability to work with subversion tools such as GIT, Team Foundation Server (TFS)
Create and maintain Continuous Integration (CI)/Continuous Delivery (CD) pipelines
Deploy new modules, upgrades and fixes to the production environment under moderate / low supervision
Lead and coordinate the “Go-Live” activities including the execution of the deployment plans and checklist procedures
Understanding of Configuration management tool like Chef, Puppet or Ansible is a must
