The DevOps Specialist is required to convert business requirements into innovative products which realize tangible Value for the R&D Tech. Able to understand technical requirements for subsequent delivery in Storage, Data Integration and Platform tools, the candidate must demonstrate specialization in CI/CD, technology, process automation.
Create Standards, Processes and Assets
Create Devops standards across the Data Platform Product teams. Covering both Cloud, On-Prem, SaaS, PaaS and IaaS.
Assist Product Teams and Solution Groups is setting clear and concise maturity and strategics goals to help on them on their journey in Devops adoption.
Provide clear guidance to Product Teams and self-service collateral to Product Teams
Collaborate across the organization so that all components provided meet industry standards and regulatory requirements, automatically generating the documentation in a compliant and seamless manner.
Provide Thought Leadership and Demonstrate Technical Excellence within DevOps
Participate in LT strategic and operational discussions, enabling the organization to set a clear direction of travel.
Act as thought leader for Product Teams, participating in PI Planning Events and Technical Assessments to ensure your knowledge and experience is distributed across the organization and other engineers are upskilled.
Build strong trusted, working relationships with Engineering Leads to enable us to work together as a high performing organization.
Enable visibility and stakeholder collaboration by building and sharing partnerships across the organization.
Create visualization and dashboarding so that the maturity and DevOps position of Product Teams is visible and clear across all levels of a Products hierarchy. (Individual Product, Product Family, Solution Group, Business Unit)
Deploy, Maintain and Support Log Aggregation, Vulnerability with associated visualizations so that real-time identification of issues can be performed across the organization.
Troubleshoot and problem solve for key issues
Work with Product Teams to identify, troubleshoot and address issues.
Participate in Architecture and Solution discussions with Product Teams and provide input into reference architecture.
Strong coding skills in the below programming languages.
Strong communication and leadership skills
Highly adaptive, agile and resilient towards continuously changing platforms
Ability to navigate increasingly ambiguous engineering problems with creativity, innovation and curiosity
Contributions to open source and/or large-scale software projects
About you
Basic qualifications:
We are looking for software professionals with these qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer science, Information Management, Pharma industry or Related Field.
3 years of Experience of at least one cloud platform Azure or GCP
Good to have Hadoop experience
Test automation knowledge (Selenium, Cucumber etc)
Good knowledge of either Spark / Java etc
Experience with source control github
Experience in at least one scripting language (Bash, Python, Ruby, YAML script etc)
2+ years of Experience with containerization and container orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
4 years hands on experience covering the likes of building ci/cd pipeline possibly Azure DevOps pipelines.
Experience with infra monitoring and alerts etc
3 years of Experience with Infrastructure Automation using Terraform, better if have additional skills like Puppet or Ansible
Preferred qualifications:
These qualifications are considered a plus:
Master’s degree
Life science or healthcare industry qualification, background, or extensive experience
