Job Title: Cloud Native DevOps Engineer
Skills
Job Experience: 6-8 years
Mandatory Skills:
1. Proficient in Micro Service Orchestration of cloud native polyglot applications on containerized on-prem, public-private hybrid cloud
2. Proficient in building CI pipeline with Jenkins and Ansible and integration with SonarQube, FindBugs and BlackDuck
3. Proficient in setting up deployment policies (red-blue) in staging, pre-prod and production environments
4. Proficient in setting up infra-monitoring with tools like Dynatrace and application monitoring with tools like Prometheus and Grafana
5. Proficient in using configuration management servers and Enterprise Vaults to maintain environment specific configuration
6. Proficient in setting up automated CD tools eg: ArgoCD/ FluxCD or GitHub Actions
7. Proficient in source version-control with GitHub and maintaining feature branches and feature-toggles
Optional Skills:
Good understanding of federated Authentication of Micro Services with OIDCGood understanding of elastic resource scalingGood understanding of cloud native application guidelines, best practices and pit-falls
Responsibilities
1. Monitoring Staging, TI and PROD Env, update and manage dashboard for quick transparent reporting
2. Overseeing nightly build failures Eg: quality check, automation tests and working with Dev teams for quick resolution and reporting
3. Building and maintaining CI pipeline and tools Eg: ArgoCD/FluxCD
4. Release management of versioned micro-services, planning/forecasting releases calendar and publishing release notes
5. Code version management, Merge conflict resolution and strategy for crowd code consolidation across feature teams
6. User interaction to understand and prioritize Productions issues and co-ordination with PO and Dev teams for quick resolution
7. Understanding and adapting all Department and Organization policies.
8. Transparently reporting all DevOps progress, impediments to management
