Position :
Job Description : Come join a creative team of Data Engineers, as part of Engineering & Architecture in Corporate and Investment Bank (CIB).
We work on building and maintaining predictive data quality and governance solutions for managing the quality, integrity and validity of the firm’s data by applying statistical approaches and machine learning techniques.
Job Responsibilities
Candidate will be working on cutting-edge strategic data quality and governance framework being developed using off-the-shelf third party applications and internal tools.
You will collaborate as part of a global and diverse team, with clients across the globe.
You will communicate with varied stakeholders across business, architecture and technology teams to design, deliver and support innovative DQ solutions using both vendor applications and internal tools.
Understand and manage operational processes, work closely with business stakeholders & operations partners, collect requirements, identify gaps and develop innovative technical solutions.
You will be a data storyteller, deliver data insights in compelling manner and articulate findings clearly and concisely via presentations, discussions and visualizations.
Qualifications & Experience
Required:
Passion for working in an innovative culture
Curiosity, creativity, resourcefulness and a collaborative spirit
Interest in problems related to the financial services domain (specific past experience in the domain is not required)
Ability to work in large, collaborative, global teams
Minimum 4+ years of experience with proven track record in any data quality, data governance, business intelligence, analytics or big data implementation projects.
Hands-on experience in at least one of the following Data Quality or Analytics tools: Collibra OwlDQ / Informatica DQ/ Talend DQ, Tableau, QlikView or similar.
Experience in Hadoop ecosystem (Cloudera/Horton) and Apache Spark
Proficiency in writing SQL and strong conceptual knowledge in relational and NoSQL databases.
B. Tech, BE, MCA, ME, M. Tech or equivalent technical degree from a reputed university/institute or equivalent experience.
Experience with Source Code Control Systems such as Git, bitbucket, svn, etc.
Preferred :
Working proficiency in any IDE
Experienced in agile methodologies
Experience in AWS services such as EC2, S3, EMR, MKS, Glue etc.
