Job Description : Job BriefOur Client is looking for a 6 + years experienced Content Writer to create compelling blog posts, product descriptions, social media content and web copy. Our Client is looking for someone who will help to expand digital footprint and drive more value through online content. – The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of producing pieces that increase engagement and drive leads.- This position requires a high level of creativity, as well as the ability to use data-driven insights to write better material.- The successful candidate should also be detail-oriented and committed to meeting tight deadlines. Preference will be given to those with a strong writing portfolio in the Travel domain.Responsibilities Create a content style guide to Keep tone, voice, and messaging consistent.* Develop related content for multiple platforms, such as Travel websites, email marketing, product descriptions, blogs etc. * Conduct simple keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic* Use search engine optimization (SEO) strategies in writing to maximize the online visibility of a website in search results* Coordinate with design & marketing teams to illustrate articles* Ensure all-around consistency by adhering to content style guide*Qualification & Requirements Any graduate with following skills: Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism or related field* Knowledge of digital marketing tactics, including SEO, email marketing and web analytics* Excellent writing skills, as well as the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively* The ability to consistently meet tight deadlines* At least three years of experience writing for a B2C / Travel / e-Commerce audience* Experience using WordPress or any other CMS* Good hands on experience in word processing tools like Google docs etc. * Salary Rs.3 to Rs.5 lacs per annum plus company benefits and excellent career growth options* Work experience in Travel Industry preferable but not mandatory*Note : a. This position is based at Cochin and out station candidate if selected should be in a position to relocate to Cochin on long term basis.* b.
