Description & Requirements:
Main Activities
Maintain existing eLearning Templates
Develop storyboards from initial simulation recordings
Develop eLearning Modules from storyboards using Articulate StorylineDeveloping interactive system simulationsWriting Advanced Integration scripts when required
Package and publish eLearning [as a SCORM 1.2 package]
Update older SCORM files using Adobe Captivate
Upload to the LMS and configure, including developing the Test Me Assessments within the LMS
Develop, edit and manipulate graphics in Adobe Fireworks
Refine, edit and maintain audio tracks using Adobe Audition
Functional testing and troubleshooting of eLearning Modules and SCORM configuration
HTML 5 editing
Complete adhoc LMS tasks where required including reporting, creating programs and publishing content
Key Skills
Team player – the ability to work both collaboratively and independently
Instructional Design experience preferred
Ability to interpret learning design, storyboards, and requirements into a feasible technical specification
Ability to build multimedia content within guidelines
Ability to develop standards and guidelines
Well-developed organisational diagnostic skills/techniques
Ablility to balance multiple projects within tight deadlines
Ability to develop advanced interaction scripts
A self-starter with the ability to work under pressure
Proven organisational and time management skills
Attention to detail
Data analysis (for training needs analysis)
Some of level experience with Web design and/or UX
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in a relevant role
Proficient in office equipment and Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, etc.)
Proficient in Adobe Suite
Strong eLearning/Simulator knowledge
Proven experience in creating simulations using recognised authoring tools such as Adobe Captivate or Articulate Storyline
An understanding of HTML5, Javascript.
Understanding of eLearning and web development standards (SCORM 1.2, xAPI, HTML5)
Understanding of web platforms / learning management systems, in particular Totara or Moodle
Graphic design skill using software such as Adobe Fireworks, Adobe Photoshop, Photoshop Elements etc
Skilled in precise audio / visual synchronisation
Audio manipulation / editing using Adobe Audition.
