Job Description : Severn Edge Equine Vets are going through an exciting time of development, with the addition by Spring 2023 of a brand-new purpose-built equine clinic just outside the beautiful market town of Bridgnorth, set in an accessible area of the stunning Shropshire countryside.

We are looking for an ambulatory vet with a passion for providing a high standard of quality clinical care to expand our forward thinking team of equine vets. We serve a diverse range of mostly insured clients from competition and sports horses to children’s ponies and pleasure horses.

We are passionate about providing our vets with an excellent work-life balance and have therefore recently partnered with Equicall to provide an excellent OOH rota. A 4 ½ day week includes a set half day of admin time each week per vet, to allow excellent client communication without taking away from your clinical time.

Development of clinical skills by seeing cases through is encouraged with backup and support from colleagues including regular clinical meetings. We have an extensive range of high quality portable equipment including 2 mobile DR systems, shockwave and gastroscope with a mobile technician to support. The opportunity to perform surgery at our sister clinic in Warwickshire is available.

Excellent communication skills and an ambition to work as part of a dynamic equine team are prerequisites for this posts. A strong work ethic and a desire to provide a high quality service to our clients are vital, as well as a sense of humour and a desire to enjoy a beautiful part of the country.
