Job Description : As the world looks to be shifting back to travel and experiences in a big way, Pollen is expanding the accounting function to support. We’re placing Event Accounting teams across major revenue driving business segments. These positions will be involved in P&L management – incorporating accounting, finance, and business operational functions. We’re hoping to identify experienced individuals to be a part of these functional teams as we continue to grow. Backgrounds in tour accounting, financial event management, artist settlement, and financial reporting skillsets are desired.

In the first 12 months you will:
Perform detailed analysis of event P&L’s across a designated event pod (Curated Travel – US, Curated Travel – UK, Big Group, Ski, or Formals)
Review and understand relevant vendor contracts across P&L cost categories (hotel, venue, lodging, transportation, production, and onsite)
Work closely with cost owners and operational teams to get a proper understanding of upcoming costs, potential impactful changes, and the associated timelines for payments
Help guide Accounts Payable team, making sure invoices are reviewed against contracts prior to being sent through and providing information supporting in transactional coding and allocation
Liaise with Cash Management team, identifying upcoming priorities from a cash outflow perspective
Manage onsite artist payment, cash reconciliation, and financial assistance for certain programs
Support in event closeout and final billing audits, including:
Communication of close and final cost timelines
Identifying and confirming discrepancies per contract or per cost owner guidance
Provision of commission instruction and detail to Accounts Receivable team for invoicing
Confirmation from cost owners that all anticipated costs have been accounted for
Event tie-out (book to schedule) and support file storage
