Key Job Responsibilities:
Analysing existing operations, crops, preparing plans for harvesting of crops.
Visiting the FPO/GMs to inspect crops, guide farmers if any problem with crops.
Help Logistic assistance to ensure seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, and other supplies are regularly stocked.
Handling the marketing and sale of products produced on the farm like fruit, vegetables, and grain.
Building professional networks and keeping abreast of developments in agricultural Market.
Building good profession network at local Grain/Veg mandi, miller, local and institutional buyers.
Required qualification and core competencies:
Bachelor’s degree in agriculture or equivalent.
Additional courses in business management or administration are preferable.
Experience in this Agri output trading is compulsory.
Extensive experience in a farming-related field.
Management experience would be a plus.
A passion for agriculture.
The ability to make decisions in stressful environments.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Willingness to work overtime as required.
Essential Skills and Abilities
Additional courses in business management or administration are preferable.
