Morgan Stanley Wealth Management (MSWM) Technology is the global technology department responsible for the design, development, delivery and support of the technical solutions behind the products and services used by the Morgan Stanley Wealth Management (MSWM) business.

Morgan Stanley Wealth Management (MSWM) Technology works with large scale databases such as DB2 and SQL Server, proprietary and non-proprietary messaging software, a broad variety of vendor products, numerous financial exchanges and regulatory entities, and programming languages ranging from .Net and Java to Cobol and VB.Net.

SQE Center of Enablement (COE) partners with Wealth Management development teams and partner technology organizations to enable the delivery of technology solutions to our business in the most efficient, predictable manner possible

Position Overview:

Senior Leadership role with responsibilities for the oversight engaged programed. As a technical leader in WM SQE COE you will have a chance to work with a broad set of technologies to help build, maintain, govern the best in class test automation frameworks and solutions, govern quality audits, validate regression penetration and coverage and provide support to testing across entitlements, workstation and back-office settlement services. You?ll have the opportunity to work closely with other leaders and teams supporting testing and nurture them with the valuable offerings developed by the team.

Responsibilities
Providing technical and thought leadership to testing teams as Wealth Management digitally transform to a cloud based, DevOps and Agile technology solution
Advising Wealth Management leadership on the technology portfolio, as well as facilitating the business?s alignment with the wider Digital Transformation strategy
Responsible for developing & governing Test Automation tools and frameworks technology stack, with scalable design and best practices for a broad range of Engineering and Technology disciplines
Works with other leaders in the organization and build partnership to drive adoption of comprehensive test automation tooling strategy for enterprise scale applications with a long-term vision
Provide leadership and technical expertise in conducting R&D and POCs, staying up to date on latest tools, technologies, emerging trends with respect to Test Automation, Software Quality Engineering, Continuous Integration and Delivery
Governing the adoption of technologies and associated skills, assist teams to define quantitative and meaningful metrics to accurately evaluate their value to the business
Collaborate with the wider DevOps team to optimize the Dev/Test pipeline and practices
Provide guidance to teams on Agile Practices so they seamlessly work as one team with development to achieve automated testing within a sprint, every sprint
Hosts periodic meetings with teams and exchange knowledge and key business, organizational goals, strategies and vision
Conduct semi-annual/annual performance review, feedback for the team

QUALIFICATIONS
Qualifications
20+ year’s experience with performing quality engineering and test automation delivery in a large financial service organization or major consulting organization
10+ years of experience of leading large-scale QA programs. Experience in collaborating effectively across a variety of IT and business groups, across regions, roles, and able to interact effectively with all levels
Must have hands-on experience on Test Automation tools and frameworks evaluations, POC and R&D
Proven record of execution of QA strategy and unification of QA processes across organization
Must have hands-on experience with Java
Good to have hand on experience on JavaScript, C#/.NET etc.
Working knowledge of any Relational Database and DB Queries
Exposure and experience working with varied technologies like .NET, Angular, WPF, Mainframe etc.
Must have working knowledge of DevOps Principles and Practices (CI, CD, Continuous Testing, etc.)
Working knowledge of tool and technologies like TeamCity, Jenkins, GIT, JIRA, ALM
Well versed with approaches like BDD, Keyword Driven and Data Driven test automation
Good to have understanding of model-based testing
Understanding of Agile/Waterfall development process and is comfortable diving into the technical architecture of complex and highly scalable solutions
Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills. Experience in presenting to diverse audiences and conducting education and training
Experience with project management tools & functions
Development background is helpful
