Grade 4 £20,903 – £24,491 (Full Time Equivalent) – 35 hours per week, term time only

This is an outstanding opportunity for the right candidate. We are looking for a new member of the inclusion team who is willing to promote the welfare and academic success of pupils, ensuring that pupil wellbeing and safeguarding is the focus of all actions undertaken in the role. You will promote positive behaviour throughout the school and support children to take responsibility for their behaviour and choices. You will also support with pupil attendance and well being and work closely with families and other agencies to ensure that children and families have the right support at the right time. You will a vital member of the federation safeguarding team and a trained DSL; able to triage concerns and work using your own initiative.

You will have;
experience of working with pupils with behavioural issues
experience implementing behaviour management strategies
good English and maths skills (minimum Grade C or equivalent)
proven awareness and respect for the highly sensitive status of information and its confidentiality
excellent written and verbal communication skills
knowledge of child protection and safeguarding procedures
the ability to learn the effective use of IT packages specific to this role
a good understanding of child development, learning processes and barriers to learning
open-mindedness and patience
a friendly, helpful, caring and flexible approach
