Job Description : Elsby & Co have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Assistant to join the team in our Rushden office. This is a great opportunity for a person looking for a progressive full-time role in an ambitious and growing firm, working with a friendly and supportive team.

Position:
Scanning and inputting invoices
Matching and processing sales and purchase invoices
Identifying discrepancies and resolving queries
Bank reconciliations
Preparing VAT returns
General finance duties and support to the wider team
Requirements:
Some previous experience in a finance or accounts role for an SME business or accountancy practice
Organised and efficient, good attention to detail, used to working to budgets
IT literate, including use of computerised bookkeeping platforms eg Xero, SAGE
Strong internal and external communication skills ie confident and professional communications with clients and working with all levels of staff internally to ensure an efficient and quality service
Friendly and approachable
Driving Licence and Car Owner
