Do you want to work in a busy finance environment? Are you able to process transactions quickly and accurately whilst following finance procedures? Are you interested in providing an excellent level of customer service?
We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive individual to support the Finance team in providing an outstanding service.
You will play an important role in the team providing advice and assistance to staff and students on a day-to-day basis, and you will also undertake financial administrative tasks such as checking expense claims, producing routine reports and processing payments.
The role will require you to combine your excellent customer service skills with a focus on accuracy, meeting deadlines and promoting best practice. Previous experience of working with finance systems and procedures would also be advantageous, although not essential. Support for undertaking finance qualifications is available if appropriate.
This vacancy is within the Finance Service, and it will be based in either the Faculty of Engineering and Physical Sciences or the Central Services team. However, should the business need arise, and after full consultation with you, you may be deployed elsewhere within the Finance Service.
