Job Description : Vardey Recruitment is delighted to be partnering with a lively, well-established company based near Poole in Dorset who are recruiting for a Finance Assistant to join their lovely team!Based in a small and very friendly team your job as the Finance Assistant will be to look after purchase and sales ledgers together with supporting the Management Accountant in month end processes. You will want to work in a busy job, within a fun and lively working environment!Duties include:The Accounts Assistant will work in a varied and busy role and is an essential part of the accounts department.Full responsibility of the purchase ledger.Supplier statements reconciliation and dealing with queriesResponsibility for the weekly payment run for review.Sales ledger to include review of aged debtor balance and some credit control duties.Posting journals and assist with the preparation of the annual audit process.Daily reconciliation of the bank accounts (multi-currencies)Processing receipts and helping with the preparation of VAT returns.Processing staff expenses, petty cash and reconciliation of credit card transactions.Accruals and prepaymentsThe role will suit:An Accounts Assistant with purchase and sales ledger experienceStrong bank reconciliations – ideallyThis role may interest an Accountancy Graduate (with experience) or an experienced Finance Assistant/Accounts Assistant seeking progression and study support.An AAT or CIMA/ACCA studierIn return:Competitive base salarySome flexible working if neededA very cool working office environment!Pension 8% company contributionHealthcare25 days holidaysIncentives, staff events and weekends awayOn Site ParkingA gift donation to the employee per year to spend on a hobby!Study SupportBy applying for this role, you are authorising Vardey Recruitment – a recruitment agent, to contact you and to provide services and information relating to job hunting activities.
