Job Description : Finance ManagerThe Rodillian Multi Academy Trust, The Featherstone Academy, Pontefract Road, Featherstone, West Yorkshire, WF7 5AJGrade: SCP 39 – SCP 43 (£43,570 – £47,665 per annum)Hours: 37 hours per week, all year roundStart date: ASAPThe Rodillian Multi Academy Trust is looking to recruit a Finance Manager. The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant with experience of working in a management accounting role where they have demonstrated that they can implement and adapt to change. Experience of the academy sector would be ideal but your attitude and ability to use your financial knowledge to support the wider operations of an organisation are more important. As Finance Manager, you will provide high quality finance advisory services to our academies. You will be responsible for ensuring the finance function proactively supports the best interests of the academies to achieve their objectives through working in partnership with the academy Principals. This role will be suited to a high calibre and adaptable individual who is looking to develop their career further within a growing business. The ideal candidate will need to be flexible across the school year, must have excellent communication skills, and be responsive to the needs of the academies.The Trust operates across multiple sites; there will be some travel involved in this role and the ability to travel independently is important.
