Job Description : EMBS Community Colleges aims to provide young people and adults with the education and skills to enhance their wellbeing, qualifications, and employment through its full-time sixth form program and part-time adult education courses.Be part of a passionate and dedicated team working on a variety of education, community, and employability projects and services in OxfordshireWe are looking for a Finance Officer to: 1. Complete financial reporting including budgets, cash-flow, profit & loss and balance sheet reports.2. Make payments, raise invoices and manage petty cash.3. Carry out bookkeeping and keep accurate and accessible files, reports and evidence.4. Processing payroll, expenses, and pensions.5. Ensuring the accurate completion of all invoices, records to partners and external funders.6. Carrying out financial tasks relating to contracts such as report claims, bursaries, administration auditing, and researching funding rules.7. Liaise as appropriate with company accountants and fulfill established auditing & financial management processes ensuring legal and compliance guidelines are followed.8. To support the maximisation of funding through effective planning, budgeting and recommendations on how funding can be utilised.The Successful ApplicantThe successful applicant would ideally have- Have a relevant bookkeeping/accounting qualification- Previous experience using bookkeeping software.· Previous experience in management accounts.Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Fixed termSalary: £21,142.00-£27,000.00 per yearSchedule:Monday to FridayExperience:Accounting: 1 year (preferred)Accounting Support Occupations: 1 year (preferred)
