Job Description : Riva Foods is a dynamic, fast-paced food production factory specialising in garlic breads and garlic spreads. We are currently recruiting for new Financial Controller.The Financial Controller position will be a full time, permanent role reporting to the managing director. We are looking for somebody with extensive management accounting experience within a manufacturing business, preferably a food production business.The successful candidate will be responsible for handling all aspects of the company finances and cash management. Experience of managing a finance team would be desirable as you will have a small accounts team providing support.You will also need to have excellent communication skills, as liaising directly with the manufacturing team to produce weekly and monthly financial reports will be a key part of the role. Similarly, you will also be in communication with the sales department for commercial matters.Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining the relationships between the company and its bankers, auditors, solicitors and financial advisors.We are looking for somebody who will work collaboratively with the MD and Senior management team to explore options to improve company profitability.
