Job Description : As a key member of the TAFE Queensland’s (TQ) Community and Health teaching and delivery teams, you will conduct tutorial activities designed by a supervising teacher, in a range of learning environments, you will contribute to supporting quality-learning services to a wide range of clients within the Indigenous Primary Healthcare Team.

To be eligible for Foundation Educator, applicants must possess a relevant industry qualification, currently be working in the industry (or have recent experience) and commit to completing Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116).

Possession of vocational competencies at least to the level of the unit(s) of competency that tutorial support is being provided;
Certificate IV in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care (Practice)

Current industry experience and skills directly relevant to the tutorial support being provided;
Possession of a licence, ticket, professional body credential or registration that is relevant to the vocation in which they are tutoring; and
Attainment of the training and assessment qualification required for Trainers in the National Vocational Education and Training Regulator’s Standards for Registered Training Organisations (Certificate IV in Training and Assessment), within 12 months of commencing employment.
