When it comes to the day-to-day work of protecting our clients, we help say goodbye to alert fatigue and get the job done more efficiently.We are a talented team of over 50, serving over 4000 customers, 1.1million end users in 54 countries.The Role We are recruiting for an experienced remote-first Full Stack developer to join a team that is responsible for the application layer of our Cloud Security (SaaS) platform.The API and UI provide the glue between Censornet’s core security offerings of Cloud Application Security Broker, Web Security, Email Security and Authentication. As a result, you would be exposed to all areas of the platform, work across development teams and be responsible for third-party integrations.We are looking for a passionate developer who has the experience to take our mature platform forward, maintain code quality, and increase the momentum of new features and improvements. Whilst the code base is mature, there are certainly always new challenges as we are increasingly migrating elements to AWS, serverless and utilising new development techniques to increase efficiency and quality.Required Skills: At least 3 years commercial experience as a full stack developerExperience developing web applications in JavaScript with modern frameworks such as ReactJSExperience developing API’s ideally using NodeJS or a modern stackExperience with AWS Lambda, CloudFormation, API Gateways, Docker highly beneficial, or equivalent GCP/AzureComfortable with both Object Oriented Programming and Event Driven ProgrammingPassionate about security from code quality through to end-user featuresDesire to lead the development of new features or improve existing features, components and modulesAble to work independently and in a small team in an agile mannerAble to communicate effectively with nearshore team members over tools such as Slack and TeamsExcellent communication, English speaking, time management and organisation skillsBeneficial Skills/experience: Experience working on SaaS applicationsExperience of code review processes, continuous integration (Gerrit, Jenkins, Gitlab)Experience of using Docker as part of the software development life cycleExperience of using AWS services such as CloudFront, S3, ECS, LambdaWorking knowledge of Redis,Web Sockets, PostgreSQLBenefits: Employee share option schemePension contributionsFlexibility and remote workingOptional critical illness & death in service coverOptional private medical coverCensornet has adopted a person-first culture, regardless of location.
