As Barclays’ Full Stack Developer, you will be joining our growing global Governance Risk and Control team as we expand and build the Equities Investments Monitoring solution. You will have an exciting opportunity to be responsible for data analysis and development in multiple technical disciplines including, Angular, NodeJS/ExpressJs, HTML5, JavaScript and CSS3, MSSQL. Your capability will include building applications using a component based front end JavaScript framework consuming data from REST APIs.

What will you be doing?
• Ensuring code written meets the predefined company and department standards
Providing support during SIT, QA and UAT test phasesDiagnosis and resolution of defects found during SIT, QA and UAT test phasesSupporting regression testingOptimizing application for maximum speed and scalabilityOptimizing Database T-SQL QueriesAssisting in the requirements determination for system enhancements and changesCollaborating with other team members and stakeholders
What we’re looking for:
• Sound knowledge and experience working with Angular, NodeJS/ExpressJs, HTML5, JavaScript and CSS3 and MSSQL
Experience in developing web applications using HTML5, CSS3Developing experience with MSSQL database
Skills that will help you in the role:
• Experience with Typescript
Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around themExperience in developing new user-facing featuresFamiliarity with browser testing and debugging
