Job Description
ACCIONA as a leading provider of engineering services within the infrastructure sector. We provide services to public and private clients with a focus on Roads, Bridges and Tunnels, Rail and Civil Infrastructure projects. With an increasing pipeline of work in Queensland, New South Wales, and Victoria. It is anticipated that this pipeline will grow quickly, and that we will require additional GIS resources in these locations within the coming months.
We are currently seeking expressions of interest from GIS Analyst and Senior GIS Analysts to join our project teams based in either Brisbane, Sydney, and Melbourne and encouraging applications from individual who have experience working on major road, rail and tunnelling infrastructure projects. Flexible working arrangements and permanent positions are available for consideration.
About the Role
The role responsibilities include spatial data management, expert GIS analysis and creation of new spatial content within a major project environment. In addition to configuration of 2D and 3D web GIS and mobile GIS applications, as well as maintaining application content.
You will be accountable for Survey, BIM and GIS data acquisition and model translation, providing technical support and training, and will work closely with all relevant stakeholders to ensure the project is implemented on time and budget, whilst maintaining compliance.
Required Skills and Competencies
To be deemed a suitable applicant for this role, you will be degree qualified or have relevant GIS industry experience in the engineering construction sector.
Knowledge and demonstrated experience of 3D Survey and BIM/VDC model integrations with GIS in an Enterprise GIS platform (ArcGIS Enterprise / AGOL / FME Server / Geocortex), is preferred.
Demonstrated experience of relevant FME ETL processes will be highly regarded, as will web app delivery via Geocortex (VertiGIS Studio). Excellent working knowledge of a wide range of Esri applications is required.
Your prior experience will encompass configuration of 2D and 3D web and mobile mapping applications relevant for use across the major infrastructure project lifecycle.
Proven experience working with survey, design, utilities, ground disturbances, heritage, environmental and land access processes.
A strong and effective communicator who has the ability to build relationships with project staff as a go-to person for GIS analysis and application delivery.
Demonstrate strong reporting skills coupled with the capability to assist with the development of process and procedures.
