Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the successful candidate will be tenacious, positive and highly professional.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the day-to-day running of the financial function within a business with proven experience in managing/leading a small team. They will possess a critical and methodical approach to problem solving whilst being able to remain calm under pressure and display integrity at all times.We are open to receiving applications from candidates who would like to work part time (minimum 32 hours per week) and/or desire flexible working patterns.Core Responsibilities Management Accounts, Analysis & Commentary including dashboardsFinancial Accounting and consolidationProduct and Gross Margin ReportingEfficient forecasting and management of cash flow – at both Group and Company levelsInter Company reporting and reconciliationMeet legislative compliance requirements – auditing and reportingStrive for continuous improvement of operational and financial processesStrategic budgeting and planning for individual and group structure / companiesManagement of foreign currencyProduction of annual/quarterly budgets and targetsDue diligence and acquisition strategyProduction of key company secretarial documentationManagement of small team of four accountancy professionalsPayroll and staff related benefitsCashflow reportingEssential Skills, Attributes & ExperienceACA/CIMA/ACCA qualifiedExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to manage a busy workload effectively.Exceptional IT skills, particularly using MS ExcelGood understanding of corporate and personal taxSolid understanding of financial reporting frameworks including IFRS and UK GAAPExperience using ERP systems, preferably Sage 200 – Exact Online would be desirableAbility and proven leadership skills in managing/leading a teamStrong attention to detailRemuneration Package Up to £55,000 per annum DOE23 days annual leave plus statutory bank holidaysBirthday holidayCompany PensionPrivate Medical InsuranceOn-site parkingJob Types: Full-time, Part-time, PermanentPart-time hours: 30-40 per weekSalary: Up to £55,000.00 per yearBenefits:Company pensionOn-site parkingPrivate medical insuranceSchedule:Monday to FridayApplication deadline: 18/03/2022
