Group Financial Controller – The Arts
West End, London (+ Flexibility)
£90k – £100k + Package
This quintessential Arts business is a global market leader in their field. Based in the salubrious surroundings of the West End, London’s creative heartland, the business runs its truly international operations.
We are seeking to appoint a Group Financial Controller who will assume the No.1 role in finance, reporting directly to the Board of Directors.
Key Responsibilities:
Ownership for all aspects of financial management, including management reporting, group consolidation, budgeting and forecasting.
Manage and develop an efficient team of 6, which actively engages with the whole business and its strategic goals, providing world-class visibility and understanding of business performance.
Developing and implementing robust internal control policies and procedures.
Undertaking all aspects of cash management.
Identifying opportunities and providing critical information and analysis to help the Board of Directors define the Group’s strategy and help make value-adding decisions.
Managing the relationship with the auditors of the local entities and that of the Group and with the many minority shareholders.
Constantly identifying and developing tools to better answer the changing needs of the many stakeholders (board, auditors, banks, minority investors, etc.)
Candidate Credentials:
Qualified Accountant (ACA or ACCA) with some post-qualification experience
Experience of working within a transformative finance environment, seeking to drive continual improvement and change.
An appetite to build a strong internal network across the finance and corporate leadership groups.
Exposure to a broad reporting, controls and accounting role.
