Roles and Responsibilities
Sound knowledge of datawarehousing concepts including Kimball approach to design, slowly changing dimensions, typ 1 to typ 6 SCD, star and snowflake schema
Hands-on experience on Cloudera Hadoop
Strong functional programming experience required
Experience on HDFS and unix filesystems
Shell scripting
Should be able to code basic data validation checks like dedupe, not null, correlation checks, referential checks
ODI/Informatica knowledge will be an added advantage
Knowledge of financial reconciliation in banking domain will be a plus
