Job Description : Future in your House Half-term & Holiday camp is looking for a great Arts & Craft Activity Instructor, Multi-activity lead, to join our team who has previous experience and knowledge of working with children and young people with a passion for arts and creativity and getting kids active. Our company is dedicated to improving the health and wellbeing of children through active learning. Delivering sports, arts and life skill courses to children during the year. Having such a positive effect on children is something to be truly proud of and goes hand in hand with our company’s core values!We run every half term & holiday camp delivering fun engaging multi-activities, sports, arts and crafts, musical theatre to children aged 4-13 years old.Are you a teacher or childcare practitioner, a college student, university students who love arts, crafts and is creative with children who might be interested in this vacancy? We also are looking for supervisor to manage our site and make it their own.Half-Term & Holiday Camp dates4th to the 8th April & 25th July to the 26th August, October half-term & December holidays,About youWe are looking for a real team player, someone who will happily roll up their sleeves and get stuck in, leading arts & crafts, painting ideas, leading and assisting activities and even helping us develop new schemes of work! You will need to be hard working, driven and passionate about your work. When working with children you’ve got to be adaptable too.You will have great communication skills and be able to work by yourself planning activities as well as part of a team when delivering them and keeping the children safe. You will need to be able to drive or be able to commute to our venues and for training.DUTIES· Plan a range of innovative seasonal arts & crafts & multi-activities sessions which instils our core life skills pillars in children during half-term and holiday camp· Set up and deliver high quality arts, crafts & painting provision to children and young people· Develop and inspire young people to live and lead active lifestyles· Experience and knowledge of working with children and young peopleYou will be required to know and breath Arts, have an Enhanced DBS alongside mandatory training in L2 coaching certificate or above, L2 Safeguarding, L2 Health & Safety, L3 Paediatric First Aid which are all at a recognised standard. Competent in literacy and numeracy to GCSE/Level 2 standard or equivalent.
