Job Description : Roles and Responsibilities
Requirements
Extensive experience (of at least overall 12 years) in an Application Infrastructure role
5-7+ years of DevOps Manager or related experience and a demonstrated understanding of DevOps and technical quality control processes, artifacts and tools
Hands On experience using DevOPS tools in a cloud environment, such as ansible, Sal-stack, Docker, Github, BitBucket, Jenkins
Expertise in Container services, Kubernities and development of Restful API is desirable.Kubernetes, etc.
Understanding of writing Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), using tools like Terraform
Experience in troubleshooting distributed systems
Proficiency in script development and scripting languages
Experience in designing and building web environments on AWS, which includes EC2, ELB and S3
Familiarity with tools like AWS CodeBuild, AWS CodeDeploy, and AWS CodePipeline
Sound knowledge of Azure Cloud in IaaS & PaaS along with strong hands-on experience on Azure automation, PaaS deployment like Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL, Azure DataBricks, Azure Functions, WebJobs
Good understanding of database technologies like MySQL, DocumentDB, MongoDB, PostgreSQL
Knowledge of Content Delivery Networks
Maintain PCI, GDPR, CCPA, PIPEDA, HIPAA, and global cyber security requirements.
Hands-on technical depth enables direct oversight, problem-solving leadership and participation for application infrastructure implementation, application releases, upgrades and operational troubleshooting
Experience working with IT / Application Infrastructure management approaches, techniques, and principles
Experience with comprehensive disaster recovery architecture and operations, including storage area network and redundant, highly available server and network architectures
A track record as a coach, mentor, and developer and an ability to drive to big picture goals and milestones while valuing and maintaining a strong attention to detail
An ability to quickly identify and drive to the optimal solution when presented with a series of constraints
Demonstrated ability in people management, strategic planning, risk management, change management, and project management
Excellent judgment, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills
Full understanding of software development lifecycle best practices
Self-motivated individual that possesses excellent time management and organizational skills
Demonstrated ability to actively and effectively manage teams and products of various sizes
Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of developers, product owners, and subject matter experts including Client peers
Passionate about working in finance domain and disrupting traditional workflows that are inefficient and lack transparency
Master’s degree in a relevant subject or equivalent level of knowledge gained through experience and further training/development
